Welcome to your November newsletter.
Now that the dust has settled from our move and social commitments we are on the verge of something new.
We are constantly evolving by moving forward. I used to resist change in the past, I would close down and hang on to my routine.
Now I welcome the variety and have the door always open. You never know what will come into your reality.
Before the official ‘silly-season’ hits us, it is time to regroup and acknowledge your achievements thus far for 2009.
Time to reflect on these questions:
- Did you overcome your biggest hurdle?
- Did you achieve a major goal?
- Did you get out of your comfort zone?
- Did you do something that scares you?
Or
- Are you waiting to be rescued?
- Still blaming others for your predicament?
- Feeling anxious and angry and not sure why?
Let this be awareness for you and for those that have grown and moved forward (or backward as long as you moved) let
November be the month to celebrate your milestones and goals. I know life is a journey yet we are so consumed by the journey
that we forget to stop and reflect on our wonderful achievements. I personally know a few clients who are just like this, so as your
coach I tell you, give yourself permission to SHINE!
And to be a good example I will do the same. Starting with getting my hair done and buying something nice for myself.

as a great excuse to get in touch with past customers or friends.

When is a good time?

As the sun sets for another day, I marvel at the colors and how unique each sunset is, none are exactly the same with the cloud cover and light diminishing you get the feeling that the moment will last forever, just as it is about to disappear the crescendo hits. It is absolutely beautiful.
It is easy to live each day, one at a time and just be. There is security in routine and there are no surprises. Yet we do need to move forward, otherwise we stop growing personally and professionally. That is the paradox, you stay the same you loose, you change something you are taking risks, becoming vulnerable and there are no guarantees. So you may loose there too.
So when is it a good time to change?

Christmas Cards made easy
Where did the year go? It feels like yesterday that we send out our last Christmas cards and now we are in November already and Christmas is around the corner . This is the perfect time to get in touch with people that you feel close to and also with people you want to keep in touch with. We at Click A Life Coach use this very effectively to keep in touch with past and existing clients. Plus our service providers that have given us excellent service.
Before last Christmas we were sending out electronic Christmas cards to everyone and handwritten cards to a selected group of customers. We received great feedback about the handwritten cards, but no feedback whatsoever for electronic greeting cards. After looking at my Spam Folder, this didn’t surprise me. Just before Christmas or any of the big holidays, the number of greeting cards that I receive multiplies by 50. None of them is legitimate, all is Spam. I actually stopped looking at anything that says greeting card. I am sure I am not the only one, meaning that when you send 100 cards electronically maybe one gets read (if you are lucky).

Face Your Fears

This topic comes up a lot for me lately, so I thought it would be appropriate to share my learnings and insights so you can gain some awareness and perhaps some new way of thinking.
Just now I had a client cancel her first coaching session, interesting as yesterday she sounded like she wanted to talk about her relationship issues. After all she made the first step to book a coach, so from that act she was searching for help. Today it was a different story; she did not answer her phone on our designated appointment time. People want change then they bury their head in the sand. That is the way I see it, if you reach out for support and the hand is out extend for you then you must take it. This is the way forward. If you hesitate and pretend the issue is no longer, well who are you trying to convince?
