It is scary, but it is less than 3 months to Christmas and as a business owner we are making sure that we keep in touch with our customers. This is the perfect time to think how you would like to send this years Christmas greetings.
Two years ago we were sending out electronic Christmas cards to everyone and handwritten cards to a selected group of customers. We received great feedback about the handwritten cards, but no feedback whatsoever for electronic greeting cards. After looking at my Spam Folder, this didn’t surprise me. Just before Christmas or any of the big holidays, the number of greeting cards that I receive multiplies by 50. None of them are legitimate, all is Spam. I actually stopped looking at anything that says greeting card. I am sure I am not the only one, meaning that when you send 100 cards electronically maybe one gets read (if you are lucky).
The problem with handwriting cards is that as our client base grows, this becomes very time consuming. Two years ago we found an excellent solution to this dilemma. We came across a website that works similar than the sites that offer electronic cards. The company is called SendOutCards and their website allows you to create your own cards and have them send via normal mail. You can either choose one of their card designs (they have over 1000 different designs) or you can create your very own design. You can even use your own handwriting on the cards. This is clever as it becomes more personalised.
Last Christmas we created a card for our clients, imported a text file containing our client details and voila. The whole process took less than 15 minutes and our Christmas cards were sent to over hundred clients. We use the same service to automatically send out birthday cards to family and friends. They love it when they open card and the see the smile of our baby daughter wishing them Happy Birthday.
After having some bad experiences with online companies, it was a pleasant surprise to use SendOutCards. Their interface is easy to use and it offers a lot of flexibility. They have thought of everything and the process of selection, writing and embedding photos is easy and fun..
I would like to invite you to try this service for yourself and offer you a free trial account. Simply follow this link and create and send your very own greeting card. SendOutCards just got easier and personal.
