Reflections

It is beneficial and valuable to take regular time-out of our busy lifestyles for reflection.

Reflection allows us an opportunity to evaluate our lives and ourselves.

Find a peaceful location that is free from distractions and be still so that you can reflect on
yourself and areas of your life.

During this reflection time ask yourself some important questions and then wait for your
inner-guidance to provide you with the answers.

Below are some suggestions.

What am I doing in my life that is serving me well and that I need to continue doing?

What areas of my life and myself can I improve and how can I improve them?

What do I need to let go of so that I can experience more of what I want in my life?

What patterns of thoughts and behaviours do I need to change and how am I going to do
that?

What am I learning and how can I apply my learnings to achieve better results in my life?

What specific actions do I need to take in my life to be happier?

How can I experience more enjoyment in my life?

What do I need to do differently in my life to achieve the better outcomes that I desire?

By asking these types of questions, and by being totally honest with yourself, you will receive
answers to assist you towards living a life that is more fulfilling. Write down the answers
that come to you. After reflecting it is then important to apply the necessary action from the
answers that come to you. The answers you receive will provide no benefit unless you act upon
them.

With the end of the year coming and a new one about to arrive I believe that it is an ideal time
to reflect and pose these types of questions to yourself so that you can make next year an even
better one for you.

Regardless though of the time of the year, spending time regularly reflecting is a productive
thing to do. It helps us to gain the necessary awareness to continually improve ourselves
and our lives.
