What is your Plan B?

Just reading the news about this volcano causing such an impact on multiple levels makes me realize that sometimes you have No control over some plans you made so long ago. Who can anticipate the eruption of a volcano high north of the European continent would impact people as far as Australia? Well it does, people wanting to fly to Europe, all flights suspended. Not since WW2 has there been such a standstill of international flights. This puts many plans into jeopardy, which prompts the need to think about contingency and your plan B.

Perhaps when you plan something think about the alternative just in case, yet again this is not really practical as you then need to think about when things go wrong. And if you have done any personal development and the law of attraction this is not a good idea as you are entertaining the thought of disaster and your plans falling through. We want to be in a positive state and feel that it will come to fruition  that is what we need to feel and believe. Otherwise we are simply self-sabotaging ourselves as we procrastinate about action and what we need to do.

During our fertility challenge I always had a positive mind set and that is why the lows were so low. If I had thought that all these injections, blood tests and ultrasounds were futile then why would I go through such torment? Easier to not embark on such a monumental task and just not do IVF. In my case there was no plan B. It was going to work, no matter what.

So where does that leave you? Do a plan B or just hope that plan A goes to plan? Well I believe you put your heart and passion into your plan A and see this coming towards you, if you are met with obstacles and roadblocks then tackle them one at a time and ask yourself if your plan is still worth it. If it is then you just get through that first obstacle and second and so forth until you arrive at your goal. That is what I believe. Mother Nature may have other plans and then you have no control over that. Remember this is when you get creative and just stay at your current destination a little bit longer until you can move again and take that flight.

Nice topical post.

I'm actually OK with having a plan B. It's not necessarily against the law of attraction, it can be a pragmatic response to life's challenges.

Cheers,
