A client of mine was talking about all the things she has yet to do and she became a little bit disillusioned about it all, as she felt she had left her run too late. She is in her late 30s, still single and no children and she really wants a partner and family to complete her picture. She like so many women of my generation feel that we can have it ALL, career, travel, new experiences and then find Mr Wonderful and settle down with one or two children.

Time is a finite resource we all know that and if our priorities are to work and travel then you need to have your eyes and heart open to meet Mr Wonderful during  your journey.  If you keep playing the field and not commit then you risk running out of time and you may become complacent and settle for Mr Right now.

I was watching an interview with Dame Elizabeth Murdoch she will be 100 years old next month, and what really stuck me was that she was so vivid and articulate in expressing her opinions, she said that her mind had not changed throughout her life just her appearance, she was such an inspiration a happy lady who keeps herself mentally stimulated and keeps abreast with all her philanthropy work.  She also wanted to live for another 5 years or more as she had things to do. Imagine that!

It is never too late to get going towards your inner happiness whatever that is whether it is a new career, new relationship or a complete sea change you need to be brutally honest with yourself and take that step. I know it is hard, believe me I was there, so many years just doing my thing expecting happiness to find me! The day I committed to finding Mr Wonderful my world changed and as they say the rest is a happy history.

You may feel reluctant to change what you already have accomplished, as you may need to give something up, I understand. Just remember THINGS do not fulfill your heart, they may give you a little smile now and again, however it does not last. Only through connecting with others and being a part of something bigger do you really grow and shine.

So what are you waiting for? Life needs to be lived each day, consciously and with a big happy smile on your face.

Thanks for your sharing.
I love your word, Never Too Late and I agree with "It does not last"
It's so true, just be ourself.
Don't set too much frame or limit for ourself or others.

Happy day~
